There is a saying that the best things in life are free. Though it may not be true in every case, the following is a collection of 150 + free and low-cost online small business resources, providing an abundant and useful amount of information and/or assistance in almost every aspect of starting and running a small business. This list is particularly beneficial for bootstrapping small business owners looking for free training, free mentoring, free business tools, and free business tips and information.
While compiling this list of online small business resources, I purposely tried to avoid as many for-pay services and dotcom’s as possible (and, no, there are absolutely no referral links mixed in; I have no personal interest in any of these sites). Where dotcom’s do appear, the referenced information is either free or for nominal amounts.( And, yes, I personally checked out every site on this list.)
Going through the web sites listed below, you may be surprised to discover just how many valuable services and tools and how much indispensable information you can access for free or with minimal investment. You just need to know where to look.
If there are any online small business resources you feel I left out, if a link is broken, or if you have any other suggestions, please let me know by leaving me a comment in the box below or by sending me an email at: thefrugalentrepreneur[at]gmail[dot]com
